Client’s needs

●  In the dosing and filling section, 304 stainless steel is used as contact material and the horizontal sealing jaws are PTFE-coated.
●  An access platform with stairs and guardrails is included
●  15mL pulp-free fruit juice as intended product and peristaltic pump system for dosing.
●  An average operating speed of 30 cuts/min.
●  Interface languages: English/Chinese

Challenges
  • "15ml/pack" is difficult with a dosing deviation rate of ±2% or more
  • Excess foam during high-speed operation causes inaccurate dosing and liquid leakage.
  • Filling nozzle has stringing and oozing problems, which results in unclean and poor seal integrity.
  • Lateral film misalignment and inconsistency in tension across five lanes, which leads to skewed and unevenly cut packs.
  • Unsynchronized lane speeds lead to inconsistency in cut length, misplaced patterns and broken texts.
Solutions
  • Independent micro peristaltic pumps for each lane with independent closed-loop control.
  • Drip-free filling nozzle and suck-back design prevent stringing and oozing.
  • Vacuum deaeration tank is installed on the pipe system, which helps reduce foaming for fruit juice/fermented drinks packaging.
  • Independent film feeding on each lane through servo drive and bus synchronization reduce the deviation to less than 0.3mm.
  • Automatic correction, closed-loop tension control and independent lane tension control
  • Secondary bag-length correction before heat sealing prevents inconsistent length.
  • 316L stainless steel for contact parts + dead-corner-free pipe system + quick-release components + clean-in-place (CIP)
